    Senior Ride ProgramsPBenewah Area Transit (BAT) offers curb to curb, demand response transportation service in the St. Maries area. BAT provides services to the general public for shopping, medical appointments, socialization and recreational activities within 7 miles of the of St. Maries city limits. BAT also provides Medicaid approved transportation to St. Maries, Coeur d’ Alene, Post Falls, and Hayden, ID from outlying areas such as Fernwood, Santa, Emida and Plummer, Idaho. Requests to and from other areas may be considered. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday (except holidays).     Senior Ride ProgramsPartnership of public entities provide a share-a-ride paratransit service in the urban area (CdA, Dalton, Hayden, Huetter, and Post Falls) and within 3/4 mile of the fixed route service. Door-to-door shared ride transportation for people who are disabled and because of the disability are not able to use the regular bus service either some or all of the time, and have a qualifying disability that has been certified by a healthcare professional. Application required-card provided for access to the service. Van drivers can provide assistance with up to 4 grocery bags (no more than 25 lbs each). Service provided within 3/4 mile of the regular bus routes.     Senior Ride ProgramsThe Older American's Program serves Tribal Elders and their spouses 55 years of age and older. The core service of the program is providing delicious and nutritious meals, buffet style, Monday through Thursday, at the Tribally owned Senior Center in Plummer, Idaho. The program also services the same meal to home bound Elders throughout the reservation. The program maintains three (3) vehicles; a 23 passenger tribally owned bus and two (2) GSA vans for transportation services. The program also provides the following services: transportation, cultural activities, advocacy and counsel, case management, and information and referral.     Senior Ride ProgramsSnake River Transit (SRT) will operate two buses. The buses will start on the hour from the Walmart in Ontario. One will follow a one hour route around Ontario - the other will travel a one hour route to Fruitland then to Payette, passing back through Fruitland before returning to the Walmart Point. There will be 12 bus stops in Ontario, 9 bus stops in Fruitland and 8 bus stops in Payette, however the service is also a “flag stop” system and you may board the bus anywhere along the route that it is safe for the bus to pull over, by signaling the driver.Snake River TransitTreasure Valley Transit

    Senior Ride Programsis the rural transportation provider for the eight counties in the Idaho Transportation Department‘s (ITD) District 3. It is also a Medicaid provider, which comprises about 12% of its overall services. TVT provides transportation for the developmentally disabled in Canyon County along with individual Medicaid trips. It also operates Mountain Community Transit and McCall Transit service in Elmore and Valley Counties. TVT operates Snake River Transit in Payette County and Malhuer County, Oregon. TVT operates 21 vehicles with a staff of 37, including the drivers. The majority of the drivers is full-time and receives benefits.     Senior Ride ProgramsACCESS is a transportation service designed to complement ValleyRide's regular bus system. The service is available to people who are unable to utilize the bus system because of a disability. Eligibility may be limited on a conditional basis, and each trip can be reviewed. Access operates the same hours as the bus system. Service is by reservation only. Trips may be booked up to 14 days in advance, but no later than 4 p.m., for service the next operating day. Once approved, ACCESS fares are $2 per one-way trip for each passenger and for each guest. A personal care attendant may ride free. Charges are $4.00 at pickup time for 1 mile and $4.00 return for around Sandpoint. Out of town to Coeur d' Alene is $1.00 per mile. Round trip to Coeur d' Alene could be $50.00 to $55.00. Leave Sandpoint at 6:45am arriving Coeur d' Alene at 9:00am. Will drop off at Albertson on Lincoln Way and when doctor appointment will come back pick up and take to doctors office and pick up after appointment. Leave Coeur d' Alene at 2:15pm for Sandpoint.
