General Information
Description of ProgramSouthwest Idaho treatment Center (SWITC) provides residential care to people who are developmentally disabled; who meet the level of care requirements to live in an intermediate care facility for the intellectually disabled (ICF/ID); for whom all community facilities, options and supports have been exhausted; and for whom SWITC is the least restrictive available residential placement consistent with the needs of the individual. SWITC is Idaho's only publicly run ICF/ID. Highly specialized treatment is provided to people who have been admitted through assessment by the regional FACS Developmental Disabilities Program.
